Background and objectives:
MisMec is Network of 7 organisations with the objective to
assist Small- and Medium Size companies (SMEs) to
prepare proposals and to join on-going projects within the 6th EU Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6). Focus is put on the larger instruments of the 6th Framework Programme,
such as Integrated Projects (IPs) and Networks of Excellence (NoE), but other instruments apply as well.
More specifically the aim is to:

Inform and assist those writing proposals for
future projects, to make proposals relevant to SME needs

Inform and assist coordinators and partners in on-going Integrated Projects (IPs) and Networks of Excellence (NoE) to include SMEs in their projects

Find the right SMEs for the right IP and NoE

Assist SMEs
-
to prepare and participate in IP proposals led by SMEs

to participate in IP and NoE proposals
-
to participate in on-going IPs and NoE
(apply through published calls)

to prepare and participate in Extended IPs and NoE
-
to prepare and participate in proposals under other instruments,
such as STREP and CRAFT

To provide information on calls and how to write a proposal.

To assist SMEs in taking an active role either as as coordinators, research partners or end-users.
